In this role, you will support the execution of the hotel’s PR, communications, and marketing strategy, assisting with storytelling, media relations, and brand visibility initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally to develop content, coordinate media and influencer experiences, and help ensure consistent brand representation across all channels. This is a dynamic, hands-on role suited to a detail-oriented and creative professional with a passion for hospitality, communications, and brand management.
Job Responsibility
Support the execution of the annual PR and communications plan, including drafting press releases, biographies, and story ideas
Collaborate with internal departments to develop compelling stories and guest experiences aligned with the hotel’s positioning
Assist with media relations: identify target publications, coordinate press visits and interviews, and develop new media contacts
Support securing media coverage through editorial opportunities, including agencies, B2B channels, and F&B PR
Coordinate stays and experiences for journalists, influencers, photographers, and content creators
Track PR performance, compile reports, monitor competitors, and contribute to the marketing dashboard
Provide administrative support, including contracts, invoices, POs, talent sourcing, and content usage approvals
Prepare meeting agendas and minutes, ensuring clear follow-ups and alignment across teams
Maintain and organize shared PR and marketing assets (image libraries, press kits, and documentation)
Represent the hotel at local events and proactively identify partnership opportunities aligned with the brand
Ensure brand standards and visual identity guidelines are consistently applied across all hotel outlets and materials
Coordinate the development of promotional assets, including brochures, newsletters, and collateral
Assist in planning and executing photo and video shoots
Support commercial teams (Sales, Catering, Reservations) by ensuring all external materials align with brand positioning
Support day-to-day management of social media channels across hotel outlets, ensuring engaging and on-brand content
Monitor and manage online communities, engaging with audiences and tracking relevant conversations
Coordinate influencer partnerships and track deliverables, including content usage and timelines
Leverage social platforms to amplify key messages and drive organic engagement
Monitor performance metrics and contribute to a data-driven content strategy
Support the management of the hotel’s digital presence, ensuring consistency across all online and offline channels
Assist with digital marketing initiatives (SEO, PPC, email campaigns, and advertising) in collaboration with agencies and internal teams
Manage local databases and support targeted communication planning
Monitor online reputation and conduct benchmarking to optimize performance
Collaborate with operations to promote digital tools, guest engagement, and data capture (e.g., app adoption, guest reviews)
Requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
Strong interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset suited to a luxury environment
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Proactive, creative, and resourceful, with a strong sense of aesthetics
Solid understanding of marketing, PR, or digital content creation (photography is a plus)
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with design and content tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, CapCut)
Experience with Opera or similar systems is an advantage
2–3 years of experience in a similar role
Degree in marketing, communications, hospitality, or a related field
