Job Description

The PR Account Lead drives strategy, storytelling, and campaigns for our clients. This team member will need to have a solid understanding of full awareness campaigns, media outreach, AP Style, industry trends, and reporting, as well as demonstrated proficiency in client management. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator and strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide expertise to clients on PR strategy creation and execution
  • Implementation of full awareness campaigns for multiple best-in-class lifestyle clients, including the development of socially driven PR plans, crafting pitches or social content, conducting outreach to target media, capitalizing on industry trends, and managing influencers
  • Drafting PR plans and coaching clients and teams to support PR strategy and client goals
  • Develop press releases, media lists, and pitches using AP style
  • Generating significant, meaningful press coverage in target outlets
  • Regular communication with media, audiences, and clients via email, phone, meetings, and social media

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience in PR, Marketing Communications, Social Media, or Digital Marketing
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, PR, Marketing, Digital Media, Advertising, or related degree
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong follow-through
  • Strong marketing project management skills with experience planning, executing, and reporting on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent computer skills in a Mac OS and Google Suite environment

Nice to have

  • Specialized training, proficiencies, or certifications in platforms such as Google Analytics, PRSA membership, etc.
  • Experience with Slack, Sprout Social, Muck Rack, Canva, and social media platforms
  • Experience with EMS platforms like MailChimp and maintaining customer databases
