Job Responsibility:
Audit and accounts work, both in-house and at client locations
Reviewing work
Assisting in the training of Trainees
Working closely with Wellers Supervisors and Managers
Requirements:
ACCA or ICAEW part-qualified, with the certificate and some professional stage exams completed
Demonstrable recent experience within an accountancy practice, working on audits, as well as completing bookkeeping, accounts, and tax assignments, with exposure to a range of clients varying in both size and sector
Good current knowledge of compliance requirements
Proficient in accountancy and office software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
Keen to provide an outstanding and professional service to clients, ensuring exceptional advice and maximum added value
Used to taking ownership of work and demonstrating a proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
Positive team player and an excellent communicator, both with clients and colleagues
