In order to support Cross-Programme, Airbus is looking for a PMO Manager Combat Air Systems (d/m/f). The successful applicant joins the PMO Combat Air Systems (TAXC). As the Project Management Office business partner to the Combat Air Systems programme , TAXC supports programme and project management through the definition and application of related management processes, methods, tools applying AIRBUS standards. We boost programme management by providing advice, guidance and support to programme and Project Managers. We build the bridge between operational programmes and the Divisional and Military Air Systems transversal PM functions. TAXC is an integral part of both programme organisations, co-located with the respective programme teams. We are a diverse team working in an international environment.
Job Responsibility:
Boost management of Combat Air Systems Programmes/Projects such as Eurofighter Export
Accountable for integrated planning management and PMO support to Programme/ Project Managers throughout all phases of the lifecycle
Accountable to integrate and provide quantitative and qualitative data to support discussions and decision making at Programme Management and customer level
Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management
Integration and analysis of scope/requirements, time, cost resources
Lead setup and management of programme / project planning and scheduling including breakdown structures
Lead incorporation of project schedules into the integrated programme baseline
Perform critical path analysis and simulations, track progress vs. plan
Risk and opportunity management, schedule risk analysis
Programme / Project Performance monitoring (e.g. milestones tracking), control and reporting
Maturity gate management and Lessons Learnt capture
Contractual data configuration control / change management
Requirements:
University degree (bachelor's or master's) in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent
Strong background in planning complex programmes and integrating schedules on different levels
Profound experience in planning complex programmes and in creating WBS
Deep knowledge of PM tools such as Unified Planning, MS Project
Good knowledge of Maturity Gate process and PM processes, methods, tools
Experience in international platform business
Excellent personal interaction and stakeholder management skills and ability to drive change
German and English negotiation level
Nice to have:
PM certification would be a plus
Experience in Risk & Opportunity management would be a plus
Knowledge on configuration management would be a plus
Other languages would be a plus
