We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team in Aldershot as a PPM Maintenance Scheduler.
Job Responsibility:
Management and delivery of pre-planned maintenance and minor works activities, inclusive of planning and resourcing of labour, ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to
Production of both RAMS and SSoW client dependent
Arrange the procurement and delivery of materials to site inclusive of checking all quotations as required and ensuring works are completed in the most efficient manner, and in compliance with Health and Safety legalisations
Responsible for scheduling PPM, reactive and quoted tasks for internal engineers (as well as appropriate verified sub-contractors where applicable) providing a professional and comprehensive service to all clients
Ensuring tasks are planned and completed within clients target response SLA (whilst also being aware of the balance between achievement and cost implications) when considering engineers routes and skill sets
The planning of maintenance is to comply with legal requirements and customers convenience
To liaise with Project Managers /Engineers for proposed dates of any works
Attendance may be required to attend weekly planning meetings with the operational management team to highlight and discuss any planning issues
Looking at the plan for the week/month ahead reviewing engineers’ workload to keep non-productive time to a minimum
Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the Head of SHEQ Power and your Line Manager
Act as the point of contact and communicate job status to QS / GM
Monitor work progress and handle any issues that arise
Create and maintain comprehensive work documentation, RAMS, SSoW, plans and reports
To arrange engineers to take photos of site for the database to assist future site visits
To provide management reporting information on unproductive work/travel time and provide details on the unproductive time root cause analysis
Requirements:
Previous experience in scheduling of works is essential, ideally within the Electrical / Power / Utilities / Facilities Management industry (Preferable)
NVQ level 2 English and Maths or equivalent
Experience of operating in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation and dealing with clients and supply chain
A good understanding of MS office suite
