We're looking for a highly skilled, analytical and self-motivated PPC Manager to join our dynamic marketing team and drive the success of our PPC campaigns and online presence. We offer a competitive basic salary of up to £37,500, along with hybrid working based out of our Marketing Office in Gateshead. You'll be expected to attend the office twice per month, typically for a total of 4 days. About the Role As PPC Manager you will be responsible for managing, monitoring and optimising our PPC campaigns across Google and Bing. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute strategies that drive traffic, generate leads and maximize ROI for one of our business units. This is a pivotal role where you will contribute directly to the success of our online marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone with 3-5 years’ hands-on experience managing PPC campaigns, who is pro-active and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, manage and optimise PPC campaign across Google and Bing ads
Conduct keyword research, audience targeting and ad copy creation to ensure effective campaigns
Monitor campaign performance and deliver actionable insights to improve CTR, conversion rates and ROI
Manage budgets effectively ensuring efficient allocation of advertising spend
Collaborate with the marketing team to align PPC strategies with overall business goals and marketing initiatives
Perform A/B testing on ad creatives and landing pages to enhance performance
Stay updated with the latest search trends and updates in PPC automotive marketing and digital advertising
Generate detailed performance reports and present findings to stakeholders
Identify opportunities to expand the dealerships groups online whilst maintaining efficiency
Work closely with the SEO team sharing learning as well as implementing and developing cross channel best practices that can inform and improve performance for the other Search channel
Requirements:
3-5 years hands-on experience managing campaigns in Google ads, Bing ads and SA360, preferably within automotive or retail industry including experience managing shopping campaigns
Proficiency in Google ads, Bing ads, SA360 and related platforms GA4, Google Tag manager, Google Merchant Centre
Experience in handling large budgets and optimising spend to achieve business goals
Ability to gather performance data and insights and prepare a report on them in a useful actionable format
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency in using Excel for reporting and analysis (e.g. pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) as well as experience with reporting platforms such as Looker studio
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Experience in A/B testing and data-driven optimisations
Nice to have:
Familiarity with automotive inventory advertising tools and platforms (e.g. VDP Vehicle Details Pages)
Good understanding of other digital marketing channels (SEO, display and paid social)
