As a Powertrain Market Analyst, you will be a key intellectual contributor, providing frontline industry insights and supporting the formulation of core strategies. You will conduct in-depth research on the market dynamics, competitive landscape, technology roadmaps, and customer needs of China's automotive powertrain technologies, covering traditional internal combustion engines, hybrids, battery electric vehicles, fuel cells, as well as core systems such as batteries and electric drives. Through professional analysis and forward-looking forecasting, you will deliver deep market insights and decision-making support to clients.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct in-depth research on the market dynamics, competitive landscape, technology roadmaps, and customer needs of China's automotive powertrain technologies
Track and analyse the market size, growth trends, share shifts, and key drivers of China's automotive powertrain market
Conduct in-depth research on the penetration rates, policy impacts, and regional variations of new energy technology pathways
Analyse the technological evolution, cost structures, and supply chain landscapes of key subsystems
Monitor and analyse the product strategies, technology layouts, capacity planning, and market performance of key players
Track industry technology releases, partnership developments, patent activities, and investment trends
Conduct forward-looking research on next-generation powertrain technologies
Independently produce high-quality market analysis reports, thematic research briefs, and predictive model outputs
Establish and maintain a powertrain market database
Present research findings, insights, and market outlooks clearly to clients
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, or related fields
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, with at least 2 years focused on market analysis, industry research, competitive intelligence, or strategic planning in powertrain, new energy three-electric systems, or related fields
Familiarity with new energy vehicles and key powertrain technologies
Proficiency in market research methodologies
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English
Strong information retrieval and synthesis skills
A critical mindset and the ability to assess the true impact of technical developments
The ability to work within a global context
Logical thinker with strong business acumen and strategic mindset
