Job Description:

IT House is looking for a PowerBuilder Developer for a client in the software development sector within the automotive industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using PowerBuilder
  • Develop and manage databases
  • Collaborate in the development of .NET components (namely C#)
  • Use version control systems (such as GIT) for efficient code management
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing applications, identifying and resolving issues

Requirements:

  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder (real development experience is essential)
  • Solid understanding of database development, ideally with Oracle and/or SQL Server
  • Working knowledge of .NET technologies (C# is a plus), to complement PowerBuilder work when needed
  • Experience using GIT or similar version control systems
  • Experience working in structured enterprise development environments, including the use of supporting tools and standard development processes
  • Good communication skills and the ability to integrate into a team with varied responsibilities
  • English level (>B2 or equivalent)
  • Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to handle complexity
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working independently when required

Nice to have:

  • Accounting knowledge or background on that matter will be valuable
  • Additional languages such as French would be a plus
