Job Description:

This role involves defining, managing, and evaluating business plans to ensure they are operationally executable against defined strategic objectives. The position leads and partners with cross-functional teams to develop short-term business plans and supporting data-driven models, preparing comprehensive implementation tactics and ensuring business activities are aligned with stated plans among different stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

  • Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop
  • Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence
  • Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
  • Proficient in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop
  • Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set
  • Responsible for design methodology and project documentation
  • Able to develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards
  • Adept in developing, publishing and scheduling Power BI reports as per the business requirements
  • Able to properly understand the business requirements and develop data models accordingly
  • Manages complex data and business analyses to develop business plans and make recommendations
  • Works independently to construct complex statistical and financial models to forecast business performance
  • Defines the metrics required to measure business performance, compares actual data to forecasted values, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps
  • Manages complex, time- sensitive market research projects and synthesizes data and information to identify relevant trends and next steps
  • Works with cross-functional teams across the entire span of business planning activities
  • Contributes to priority projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations
  • Works closely with business leaders to develop business plans based on historical and forecasted data and reports
  • Develops go-forward business plan recommendations based on potential risks and returns
  • Identifies cutting-edge analytical tools, models, and methods for making key business decisions

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in Power BI, Power automate & SQL Query
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or any regular degree
  • Advanced Power BI & Power Automate Knowledge to implement on existing and upcoming projects
  • Analytical skills to solve complex validations & KPI's
  • Ideas to implement new techniques on visual representation and Data Modelling/Power Query for easier consumption
  • Querying, Manipulation & Validation in SQL using SSMS
  • Demonstrated knowledge of research methodology and the ability to manage complex data requests
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills
  • Ability to learn and draw on new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches to business analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling
  • Strong business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility
  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills
