Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related
Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power Platform (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals) are preferred
Proven experience as a Power Platform Engineer or in a similar role
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform products, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents
Ability to design, develop, and customize canvas apps and model-driven apps using Power Apps
Proficiency in implementing business logic, workflows, and integrations within Power Apps
Experience in creating automated workflows and business process flows using Power Automate
Knowledge of connectors and integration points for connecting with external systems and services
Ability to create interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI
Experience in data modeling, transformation, and visualization within Power BI

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience developing and supporting solutions which address a range of business needs including portals, workflow, forms, collaboration sites, document management, or business reports
Including 3 years of experience utilizing tools that include Microsoft 365, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and SharePoint
Ability to leverage database systems including data warehouses, data marts, and models needed for business, financial, and operational analysis and/or reporting
Experience performing system administration tasks, migrations, and other M365 technical tasks within the M365 environment
Familiar with and able to make use of open-source industry standards (i.e., RDS, SQL) and common data platforms
Experience with standard web technologies, such as CSOM, REST, JavaScript, and OData
U.S Citizenship is required
Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a Position of Trust clearance. (Green card holders do not meet this requirement.)

Job Responsibility

Partner with the customer’s technical team members to assist with requirements analysis and decomposition, solution design, technical architecture, implementation, and delivery of technical solutions. Assess suitability for solutions in SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Engage with M365 and Power Platform practitioners within the customer community for knowledge sharing
Serve as a technical resource to our customer by providing support and guidance to users interacting with SharePoint and Power Platform implementations
Integrate SharePoint with other Microsoft products using established patterns and industry best practices
Define and refine data sets within data platforms authorized for customer use, including Microsoft data structures and open-source industry standards (RDS, SQL, etc). Perform data manipulation and cleansing to prepare datasets for visualization. Construct and deliver dashboards using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
Evaluate and support the current Microsoft environment, plan migrations, test and ensure migration success, and update solutions as needed to operate correctly within new cloud environments
Design and develop solutions for SharePoint that take advantage of standard web technologies, such as CSOM, REST, JavaScript, and OData
Perform system administration tasks and support migration of cloud services
Leverage Power Platform to integrate with external APIs to enable seamless data flow and automation

5 years' experience building technical solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Dataverse etc.)
Able to identify functional business requirements and satisfy business needs through design, development, testing and delivery of effective solutions
Ability to make solutions look good – attention to UX/UI design and solutions that are visually pleasing to users
Able to carry out assigned projects to their completion, establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers, prospective customers, and vendors
Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written word to audiences with a wide variety of backgrounds and differing levels of technical expertise
Ability to successfully obtain a Position of Trust clearance. (VISA or Green card holders do not meet this requirement.)

Job Responsibility

Implement new solutions to business problems using the Power Platform and other applicable cloud platform solutions
Participate in project teams with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to understand customer business processes, objectives, and solution requirements
Train citizen developers and promote Power Platform usage and growth
Assist in monitoring, governing, and controlling Power Platform environments
Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing solutions
Understand high level data visualization needs to provide rich visualizations to leadership
Compile and assess user feedback to improve technical solutions
Perform other duties as assigned.
