Job Description

We are recruiting a Power/HVAC Mechanic to join the nation’s leading equipment rental organization as a field service technician. Based out of Round Rock, TX, this role is ideal for a well-rounded technician with experience across diesel-powered equipment and HVAC systems in field service environments. Must thrive in customer-facing environments and be comfortable supporting long-term customer sites. Higher-level technicians with broad rental equipment backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on diesel engines, HVAC systems, dehumidification equipment, and air quality systems
  • Support customer sites by maintaining equipment reliability, completing inspections, and documenting equipment condition before and after usage
  • Demonstrate equipment operation for customers while assisting with loading, unloading, setup, and general field service support
  • Maintain professional communication and strong customer service in field environments

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working on diesel-powered equipment, HVAC systems, or rental equipment
  • Strong, well-rounded technical background across both power generation and HVAC equipment preferred
  • Prior field service experience supporting customer sites or rental operations
  • Strong troubleshooting ability, mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with tools and service procedures applicable to the role
