Job Description

We are recruiting a Power HVAC Mechanic to join the Power/HVAC division at the world’s largest equipment rental provider. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing diesel engines, HVAC systems, and dehumidification/air purification equipment in a safe, professional manner. The ideal candidate brings strong mechanical aptitude, enjoys hands-on work, and is motivated to grow into higher-level technician roles while delivering excellent customer service.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform maintenance and minor repairs on diesel engines, HVAC systems, and air quality equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on rental and customer equipment
  • Complete service documentation accurately and timely
  • Travel occasionally to customer sites to support equipment service needs
  • Demonstrate equipment operation and functionality to customers
  • Assist with equipment and parts pickup/delivery as needed
  • Provide high-quality customer service in all interactions

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2+ years of experience maintaining or repairing diesel engines and/or HVAC equipment
  • Intermediate diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, and pneumatic systems
  • Basic ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams
  • Own tools relevant to the position
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. regularly
  • Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive environment
