Job Description:

Bemana is searching for a Power Generation Technical Services Representative to join a growing company within the power generation industry. This role functions as a hybrid project lead overseeing mission-critical data center installations, and requires technical mentorship and on-site client interaction across major regional hubs. Ideal candidates possess senior-level commissioning experience with high-critical equipment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Main technical contact for customers and internal teams on service and repairs
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues with customers and field techs
  • Lead and prepare commissioning work in the field
  • Perform alternator alignments, set isolators, prime fuel systems, and run load bank tests
  • Work directly with contractors and commissioning teams on-site
  • Provide updates, answer technical questions, and keep jobs moving
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support customer needs
  • Identify product issues and share feedback for improvements
  • Put together repair and service quotes and review with management
  • Create and share technical info, guides, and training materials
  • Work primarily with MTU equipment (~99.9%), with some turbine exposure
  • Focus on natural gas systems, typically 1.5–3 MW units running in parallel
  • Projects often in data centers and other high-critical environments

Requirements:

  • 4–10 years of related experience
  • High school diploma or GED required (degree is a plus)
  • Strong troubleshooting and hands-on field skills
  • Clear communication (written and verbal)
  • Able to stay organized and work independently
