Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Report Developer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in M Query and DAX, with a solid foundation in data modelling and SQL. This role is pivotal in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organisation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs
  • Leverage M Query and DAX to perform advanced data transformations and calculations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse reporting requirements
  • Optimise data models to ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Provide training and ongoing support to end-users for effective report utilisation
  • Stay abreast of the latest Power BI features and industry best practices to enhance reporting capabilities

Requirements:

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience in Power BI report development
  • Proficient in M Query and DAX for data manipulation and complex calculations
  • Strong understanding of data modelling principles and best practices
  • Experienced in working with SQL and relational databases
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with other BI tools such as Tableau or QlikView
  • Knowledge of Azure Data Services including Azure DevOps, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Factory
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
