Power BI Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from diverse sources
• Create and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and transformation in large-scale environments
• Build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders
• Implement data modeling best practices for Power BI, ensuring accurate and performant analytics
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL workflows, resolving issues promptly to maintain data integrity
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards across all processes
• Perform performance tuning for ETL jobs and SQL queries to meet SLA requirements
• Document ETL processes, data flows, and reporting logic for transparency and maintainability
• Support production deployments and provide on-call assistance during the 2 PM–11 PM IST shift

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
• At least 3 years of experience in SQL and Power BI
• Strong expertise in SQL, including advanced joins, indexing, query optimization, and stored procedures
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques
• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or equivalent platforms
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines for data solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a 2 PM–11 PM IST shift

Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, OneLake, Dataflows Gen2) is a strong plus
