Job Description

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and hardworking Powder Coating Painter to join our production team. If you have a sharp eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, spraying, and baking a variety of parts to ensure a high-quality, durable finish that meets our company standards.

Job Responsibility

Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, mask, and prep parts for the coating process
Powder Application: Efficiently and evenly apply powder coatings to various metal substrates using electrostatic spray guns
Oven Operation: Hang parts on racks, move them into curing ovens, and monitor bake times and temperatures
Quality Control: Inspect finished products for runs, thin spots, or defects to ensure a flawless finish
Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and other powder coating equipment daily

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience specifically in powder coating
Must be comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs regularly) and standing for long periods
A proven track record of punctuality and consistent attendance is a absolute must
Ability to catch imperfections
Ability to properly use and maintain required PPE (respirators, safety glasses, etc.)
