Job Description:

To catch poultry in line with the SOP dependent on species.

Job Responsibility:

Working within a team to ensure high welfare catching practices are maintained at all times
Work to a high health and safety standard, feeding back any ideas for improvement to the site manager
Maintain and improve on high levels of poultry welfare and ensure all biosecurity guidelines are adhered to
Work closely with line manager and staff on site to ensure all tasks get carried out efficiently and safely
To work with staff in a positive, professional manner and be prepared to support the business in a challenging environment
To maintain and improve the high level of poultry welfare, including culling when required
Ensure all farm bio-security guidance is followed (different site procedures followed)
To carry out driving requirements as necessary in line with Line Leader instructions
To carry out any other tasks relating to poultry farming as the company may reasonably require

Requirements:

Calm and good-natured temperament
Fit and able to carry out physically demanding tasks
Full driving license
Own transport is essential due to remote location
