Job Description:

Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Energy Storage and Conversion. The research focuses on cutting-edge topics in energy storage and conversion, such as hydrogen energy, battery materials, and novel energy systems.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conduct innovative research aligned with the group’s focus areas
  • Assist the supervisor in mentoring graduate students and in the application and management of research projects
  • Publish high-quality academic papers and participate actively in academic exchanges

Requirements:

  • Be in good health, with a positive work ethic, and strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Hold a Ph.D. degree awarded within the last three years
  • Generally, be under the age of 35
  • Demonstrate a strong passion for scientific research, a rigorous approach, clear academic goals, and the ability to work independently
  • Have published first-author SCI papers in related fields and possess proficient English reading and writing skills

  • Lead or support a historical baseline assessment on marine forest assemblages in Tenerife to delve deeper into the magnitude and drivers of ecological changes observed over the past decades
  • Collate and synthesize current knowledge on the ecological health of certain marine forest organisms
  • Conduct an assessment of historical changes to the marine coastal ecosystem of Punta Blanca, Tenerife
