Job Responsibility

  • Development of a novel technique for time-resolved X-Ray absorption spectroscopy based on diffractive X-Ray optics
  • Design of the diffractive X-Ray optical elements, and their fabrication by nanolithography techniques
  • Implementation of the method at the Aramis undulator of the SwissFEL facility, including the realization of pilot experiments

Requirements

  • PhD degree in physics or engineering
  • Experience in diffractive optics, nanofabrication technology, time-resolved spectroscopy, X-Ray Free Electron Lasers (XFELs) or synchrotron radiation
  • Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary, multinational research environment
  • Enthusiastic researcher
  • Good team player
