Postdoctoral Clinical Psychology Fellow - Trauma Recovery

Job Description

This fellow role is for the 2026/2027 training year with an expected start timeline of September 2026. Our fellow would be a part our Trauma Recovery Center (TRC) team. Scheduling is M-F 8-4:30p with 10-6:30p once a week. Later day is done remote.

Job Responsibility

  • Provides individual, couples, and family therapy services utilizing a solution focused, brief therapy framework under doctoral level supervision
  • Interviews and evaluates patients, establishes diagnosis, and monitors patients’ behavior
  • Provides case management, outreach and aftercare services to patients
  • Counsels crisis patients to stabilize patients’ condition
  • Develops and leads at least one treatment, skills building group, or IOP group
  • Demonstrates ability to utilize and teach appropriate cognitive/behavior management and skill building techniques
  • Communicates with other agency programs and/or human service agencies
  • Completes various administrative and insurance forms
  • Maintains concise comprehensive case records
  • Participates in quality assurance, accreditation, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities
  • Demonstrates active involvement in supervision.

Requirements

  • MA degree in Psychology
  • 1000 hours of Psychology Practicum
  • Completion of Psychology Residency
  • Clinically appropriate skills
  • Courteous and professional
  • Demonstrates keyboard skills and familiarity with a Windows environment
  • Interpersonal communication skills.
