We're working with a professional City-based organisation who are looking for a reliable and hands-on Post Room Support professional to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a practical, active role suited to someone with post room or porter-style experience who enjoys working in a busy office environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the post room
  • Moving, sorting and filing post, files and archive boxes
  • Assisting with the clearance and organisation of a basement storage room
  • Transporting files and archive boxes between various floors
  • Ensuring all tasks are completed safely and in line with Health & Safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a post room, porter or similar manual handling role
  • Confidence with manual handling tasks
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety in an office environment
  • Physically fit and comfortable with lifting and moving archive boxes
  • Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently as well as part of a team
