Basic skill level with Microsoft Office software preferred
Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment team required
Must be able to progress through job training program and perform multiple roles within a production related setting
Must be able to function well within a high performance team environment

Job Responsibility

Operate and control chemical process equipment
Consult with technical and management personnel and make appropriate adjustments to meet safety, quality, and environmental requirements
Monitor and respond to process control systems, recording instruments, flowmeters, gauges, panel alarms and lights, and any other indicator required to run process and maintain process control, safety standards, quality standards and efficiency of the process
Make adjustments to process equipment and systems
Charge specified amounts of materials into precipitators
operate valves, conveying systems, and field instrumentation in specified sequence
Adjust controller settings and direct Product Handling Technicians to make adjustments on equipment affecting the chemical process, product quality and safety of operations
Draw samples of raw materials, intermediates and finished products and perform chemical analysis as defined in process Control plan
Interpret chemical reactions through reviews of sample analysis
Adjust process conditions as necessary to maintain product quality standards
