Job Description:

Accelerate research towards new applications, core methodologies and technologies in computing systems architecture with a focus on technologies for sustainability at Hewlett Packard Labs

Job Responsibility:

Participates as a member of team of other research engineers carrying out investigation, design, development, execution, and implementation of scientific research projects
Creates portions of research plans, investigative procedures, and collection and analysis guidelines
Develops and carries out portions of protocols and processes for collecting, recording, and analyzing data
Prepares literature and presentations for peer review, publication, and delivery at industry and scientific events
Creates patent applications and supporting documentation

Requirements:

PhD
Strong understanding of distributed systems, High Performance Computing (HPC), Machine Learning
Experience with gRPC, ZeroMQ, Mercury
Understanding of Cloud Computing technologies (docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, Microservices) a plus
