Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled specialist who is committed to therapeutic intervention, reducing restrictive practice, and improving quality of life for vulnerable adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health conditions, and complex needs. You will play a key role in embedding trauma-informed, strengths-based, and inclusive approaches across services, ensuring individuals are supported to live active, meaningful, and rewarding lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver functional behavioural assessments and develop high-quality PBS plans
  • Provide direct therapeutic intervention and specialist guidance
  • Coach, mentor, and upskill care teams across multiple services
  • Analyse behavioural data to evidence reduction in behaviours of concern
  • Lead on promoting least restrictive practice and positive risk management
  • Support crisis prevention and placement sustainability
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within Health & Social Care
  • Extensive experience supporting individuals who display behaviours of concern
  • Strong working knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support frameworks
  • Experience developing and implementing PBS plans
  • Understanding of RRN, MCA, DoLS, Human Rights and inclusive practice
  • Confidence delivering training, workshops, and reflective practice sessions
  • Excellent communication, coaching and analytical skills
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or equivalent)
  • PBS qualification (or willingness to work towards)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
