Job Description:

As a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) practitioner, you will help children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes other support needs to transform their lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Help children and young people with learning disabilities, Autism and sometimes other support needs to transform their lives
  • Take time to understand the lived experience of the young person, and support them, their families, carers and other professionals to learn and apply the appropriate positive behaviour support techniques
  • Enable young people to stay in their current placements, access their communities and build tools they will use for the rest of their lives to live great, independent lives

Requirements:

  • Full UK Manual driving licence and access to a vehicle and willingness to travel
  • Previous experience working with Children and young people with learning disabilities and Autism
