Job Description:

As an intern in the Back Office Portfolio Performance Team, you will be part of a professional and growing team, with main objective to analyze financial records and, by utilizing Albourne’s in-house technology, to compile performance reports for Hedge and Private Market Funds on behalf of Albourne’s clients.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in team projects
  • Setup and ongoing monitoring of Private Markets and Hedge Fund portfolios
  • Analyze data to produce ongoing and ad hoc portfolio performance reports
  • Capture and process cash flow activity to calculate investment and portfolio level returns and metrics
  • Reconcile account statements to custodian records, investigating any discrepancies
  • Liaising with Fund Managers, Custodians and Administrators globally in the collection, clean-up and processing of client and fund data

Requirements:

  • Graduates currently completing their final year of a Bachelor or Masters Program (Business/Economics/Mathematics/Accounting and/or finance background or any equivalent numerical degree)
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills with particular emphasis on detail
  • Advanced literacy in Microsoft Excel will be considered an advantage
  • Strong aptitude for learning and problem solver
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Literacy in Microsoft Excel
  • Team player
  • Pleasant, professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Sign and comply with terms of Albourne Compliance Manuals and procedures
  • Must be eligible to work in Cyprus

Nice to have:

Knowledge of R or other programming skills will be considered an advantage
