Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and committed RES & Storage Portfolio Operations Specialist focusing on the Italian market to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient participation and optimization of our asset portfolio across regional wholesale energy markets.

Job Responsibility:

  • Maintain and update the technical database of RES and Storage assets participating in our aggregation portfolio
  • Execute settlement processes for the aggregation and PPA portfolio in close coordination with central functions
  • Liaise with key authorities (Terna, Arera, GME, GSE and relevant entities abroad if necessary) to ensure the seamless operation of our portfolio
  • Prepare and deliver performance reports using Power BI to monitor and assess technical and portfolio performance
  • Support the development and maintenance of monthly budgeting forecasts
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal forecasting and optimization tools to improve production prediction accuracy and overall economic performance
  • Monitor regulatory developments and implement necessary changes to safeguard business continuity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the power markets industry
  • Previous experience in an aggregation business is considered a plus
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory framework governing regional electricity markets
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following: VBA, Power BI, Python or SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze large datasets effectively
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
