The Portfolio Implementation Consultant is a vital link responsible for taking the fundamental FISI guided portfolio strategies and translating them into practical, tailored solutions for financial advisors and clients. This role demands collaboration across Product, Investment (SLGI), Operations, and Wealth Consulting teams to ensure seamless implementation, efficient trade execution, and optimal operational efficiency during portfolio rebalancing and adjustments. Success in this role hinges on ensuring best execution and enhancing client outcomes through technical expertise and clear communication of investment strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee and collaborate with Product, SLGI, Operations, and Wealth consultants to ensure seamless portfolio implementation and rebalancing
Manage transition activities, trade execution processes, and operational efficiency during all portfolio adjustments
Identify and explore opportunities to enhance implementation workflows through process optimization, automation, and the use of technology platforms
Partner with Wealth consultants and SLGI wholesalers to deliver customized portfolio insights, proposals, and presentations to financial advisors
Ensure FISI guided portfolios are communicated in a clear, easily understandable, and client-friendly manner
Support business development initiatives by preparing and delivering portfolio reviews, competitive positioning analysis, and detailed investment case studies
Conduct training sessions and workshops for internal partners on best practices related to portfolio implementation
Work closely with product and dealer teams to successfully integrate new investment solutions into existing portfolios
Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of guided portfolio guidelines
Support strategic platform enhancements related to essential tools like portfolio analytics and rebalancing
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience supporting and implementing guided portfolios that align with client objectives, risk tolerance, and market conditions
Experience in a role that involves client-facing communication, ideally assisting in the delivery of portfolio insights and proposals to financial advisors
Must be able to successfully pass Tier 1 checks (as required by the client)
A strong understanding of the wealth management or capital markets advisory space is essential
Prior experience supporting business development through portfolio reviews and investment case studies is highly desirable
