Job Description

We are looking for a Portfolio Development Manager focused on New Itineraries to join our Supply team. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, performance, and go-to-market strategy of new itineraries, ensuring they meet the needs of our diverse markets and resonate with our WeRoad community. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our product portfolio by identifying new opportunities, optimizing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that every new itinerary we launch performs at its best — from conception to market success.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor and analyze the performance of newly launched itineraries, identifying trends, challenges, and opportunities for optimization
  • Define KPIs and reporting systems to evaluate commercial success and traveler satisfaction
  • Collaborate with regional teams to gather feedback and continuously improve the product offering
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to identify new destination opportunities and product trends
  • Develop new itineraries that align with our travelers’ needs and the strategic goals of each market
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Travel Producers, DMCs, Destination Manager,...) to ensure the best possible product mix
  • Oversee and refine the approval flow for new itineraries, ensuring only the best and most relevant products are launched on our marketplace
  • Define the requirements and quality standards for itineraries proposed by external producers, ensuring they align with WeRoad’s development pillars and community expectations
  • Review and validate new proposals to detect similarities or overlaps with existing itineraries, maintaining a coherent and distinctive portfolio
  • Collaborate with Tech and Operations teams to optimize and automate approval workflows, improving both internal and external processes and ensuring a smooth go-live on our platforms
  • Coordinate and optimize the end-to-end process of launching new itineraries — from product testing to commercial roll-out
  • Ensure alignment between Product, Marketing, Communication, and Commercial teams for successful launches
  • Work closely with Tech and Operations to streamline product setup, data flows, and integrations across systems
  • Oversee the presentation and consistency of new itineraries on the website
  • Ensure all product pages include relevant and accurate information, with consistent wording, storytelling, and visuals
  • Collaborate with the Content and Brand teams to maintain quality standards and enhance user experience
  • Drive test projects to validate and implement large-scale improvements across platforms — for example, adding hotel names on travel pages or removing the money pot feature. Use results from A/B testing and data analysis to recommend optimizations and process enhancements

Requirements

  • Experience in Product or Portfolio Management: 3+ years in managing travel products, itineraries, or experiences — ideally in the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • confident in interpreting data to drive performance and product decisions
  • Market Awareness: Deep understanding of travel market dynamics and customer needs across different geographies
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with marketing, commercial, and tech teams to deliver results
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to handle multiple launches, priorities, and deadlines
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive, curious, and driven by impact. You’re comfortable testing, learning, and iterating fast
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English

What we offer

  • Performance-based bonus – An discretionary annual variable bonus, and based on performance and company results
  • A free WeRoad trip every year – Choose your dream destination with €1,200/year travel discount or travel even more as a Travel Coordinator
  • Unlimited holiday – You are a master of your own time
  • Opportunities to learn – We invest in your growth with training and learning opportunities
  • New parent support – €3,600/year for 3 years after birth or adoption (or prorated if your child is under 3 when you start at WeRoad)
  • Extra benefits – Meal vouchers (€8/day – when applicable), a €1,000 bonus for your wedding or civil union, and one-off bonus when you hit 5 years with us
  • Fun – A vibrant co-working space, team buildings and meet-ups
  • Hybrid working - Flexible working, and we support you to work from your destination of choice up to 1 month per year
