The Regulatory Capital Risk resides within Wholesale Credit Portfolio Management Group which has a mandate to oversee portfolio risk management activities to minimize credit losses in wholesale portfolios. The Regulatory Capital Risk team provides oversight of wholesale credit regulatory capital related processes and partners with cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment with Citi’s enterprise-wide capital framework. The successful individual will support model sponsor related responsibilities for foundational wholesale models utilized in the Risk Waited Assets (RWA) calculations and will be responsible for addressing BAU model related activities and improving model control processes. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for data analytics, sourcing and sanitizing data and performing analyses in support of issue diagnosis and broader implementation matters.
Job Responsibility:
Responsible for data analytics activities to support model-related processes or remediation activities. This includes assessing data needs and sourcing the data elements to support an analytical objective
Support BAU model processes associated with foundational default risk models (PD/LGD/CCF), including evaluating developers’ work, addressing limitations, providing review / challenge, securing MRM validation and working across with stakeholders on related implementation matters
Support senior members for remediation of Issues raised by internal / external stakeholders and assist with developing analysis and performing data review
Synthesize the information and communicate and present findings with internal stakeholders
Assist with other team activities as necessary
Requirements:
7+ years of experience in credit risk or equivalent training and experience preferably in the financial services industry
Familiar with model processes and the range of business activities that give rise to credit risk and has a strong process-driven, problem-solving mindset
Demonstrated ability to handle large quantity of data and remain detail oriented
Experiences with RWA processes and risk governance frameworks
Demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated work ethic and influencing skills
Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
