Job Description

This is where creativity meets strategy. As a member of the Baxter Marketing team, you will work on designing, developing and implementing marketing programs and pricing strategies. You’ll leverage your expertise to present our life-sustaining and live-saving products and services to the relevant market sector. Working in collaboration with the sales and technical teams, there will be opportunity for learning, development and future career growth across a variety of fields within Baxter.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from an ROI and build-vs.-buy perspective
  • Assess current competitor offerings and seek opportunities for differentiation
  • Analyze product requirements and develop appropriate programs to ensure they’re met
  • Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate go-to-market plans
  • Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for teams
  • Analyze market data to develop strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications
  • Collaborate closely with production and sales teams to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Develop product positioning and messaging
  • Responsible for developing cross-divisional sales in Hospital Business for assigned key customers / sales area in collaboration with Business Unit Director / Manager(s), Sales Managers with a shared responsibility for the Hospital Sales budget
  • Maintain, develop and consolidate relationships with all important functions within the National Healthcare System at sales area level and at Hospital level (where applicable)
  • Responsible for the business results of the assigned sales area
  • Bring in market intelligence and customer knowledge
  • Work with Country Managing Director, Sales manager and other internal stakeholders to maximize all market opportunities
  • Take a key role in management of deliveries at Hospital level or in case of constrained deliveries
  • Work closely with RA and QA to ensure supply consistency
  • Make field visits and establish strong relationships with key decision makers and buying organizations
  • Cooperate with Tender Manager in case of tenders via WS
  • Conduct business reviews with each assigned buying organization, covering sales volumes, compliance & competitive conditions
  • Work with Sales Managers in implementing multi-source product sales and marketing strategies
  • Manage expense budget
