You’ll report to the Portfolio Strategy Director, and be part of the team that creates and delivers strategic insights about the business to the leadership team and shareholder.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage the annual budget and semi-annual reforecast processes by leading the collection of commercial assumptions and translating those to asset and portfolio-level analysis
  • Ensure the outputs are commercially sensible, strategically aligned and suitable for senior stakeholder review
  • Translate financial, operational and market data into actionable portfolio insights, identifying risks, opportunities and performance trends across assets, markets and funds
  • Lead on the review of new and existing data to create business insights, and communicate these through dashboards, presentations, and reports
  • Provide leadership, guidance and challenge to junior team members and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring analytical outputs are accurate, insightful and aligned with business priorities
  • Partner with local Asset Management teams and central functions to shape and challenge asset business plans, with a particular focus on key assets, material leasing events, capex requirements and occupancy
  • Perform in-depth asset and portfolio-level analysis (leasing, occupancy, capex, NOI, etc.) to support business plan review
  • Prepare and present clear, commercially focused materials for C-suite, shareholders, investment committees and Asset Management leadership, supporting strategic decision-making at portfolio and asset level
  • Drive continuous improvement in portfolio management systems, reporting tools and processes, including PowerApps, Power BI and Excel models

Requirements

  • More than 7 years’ experience in a relevant area, ideally in private equity or asset management, and with a focus on real estate
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field
  • Proven track record in leading teams, providing leadership and guidance to colleagues of varying seniority
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, identifying opportunities and executing improvements
  • Experience in the asset management of complex multi-region portfolios
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills and ability to work with complex and big data sets
  • Ability to manage and oversee numerous projects and ad-hoc requests at the same time and skilful in prioritizing tasks
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Commercial mindset and great communication skills
  • Demonstratable experience of partnering and influencing senior stakeholders and investors
