Job Description

As a Porter / Valet at LUURA, you are often the first and last point of contact for guests, playing a vital role in shaping their overall guest experience. With professionalism, efficiency, and warmth, you ensure smooth arrivals and departures, assist guests with their luggage and vehicles, and provide a welcoming, well-organized front-of-house environment. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, physical capability, responsibility, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently while coordinating closely with F&B, Front Office, Security, Engineering and Housekeeping teams.

Job Responsibility

  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and provide courteous assistance with luggage and personal belongings
  • Safely park, retrieve, and manage guest vehicles in accordance with LUURA valet procedures (where applicable)
  • Assist with guest departures, ensuring luggage and vehicles are ready and delivered promptly
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable entrance, driveway, and lobby area
  • Escort guests to rooms or hotel facilities and provide basic information about LUURA services and amenities
  • Handle guest belongings with care, responsibility, and discretion at all times
  • Manage luggage storage, tagging, and tracking accurately and securely
  • Coordinate with Front Office and Concierge regarding guest arrivals, departures, and special requests
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to the Engineering and/or Security team
  • Follow lost & found procedures for any items discovered while handling guest belongings
  • Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ensure valet equipment, trolleys, and storage areas are clean, organized, and in good working condition
  • Adhere to traffic laws, safety standards, and LUURA vehicle-handling procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance, posture, and courteous behavior at all times
  • Support other departments when required to ensure seamless hotel operations
  • Adhere strictly to LUURA standards, SOPs, and policies

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a porter, valet, bell attendant, or in a guest-facing hospitality role is preferred
  • Valid driving license (required for valet duties)
  • Confident and safe driving skills with knowledge of basic vehicle handling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Professional, trustworthy, and discreet when handling guest property and vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm during busy periods
  • Good communication skills
  • English knowledge is an advantage
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and well-presented
  • Eligible to work in an EU country
  • Passionate about hospitality, culinary trends, culture, and the art of service
