Job Description

The Multinational Outreach Specialist supports the information needs of government, military, and select partners. The Multinational Outreach Specialist supports missions primarily focused on knowledge management support, data collaboration, and customer relationship management with US government and military users who work directly with multinational partners, or who are looking to work more collaboratively internally. The specialist works with members stationed around the world, supporting a variety of missions, and must ensure that members have the resources they need to accomplish their missions and are connected to the proper support personnel.

Job Responsibility

  • Maintaining existing relationships and improving support
  • Connecting users working similar missions and ensuring USG can connect with partner
  • Assisting USG users working with partners by educating them on creative ways to collaborate using our platform
  • Increase information sharing among USG organizations and partners
  • Anticipate needs of major user groups and key stakeholders
  • Interact with government users in person, over the phone, and through email to build and maintain relationships
  • Provide virtual or in person briefings to users on key evolving topics or platform best practices
  • Identify, suggest, and execute key information-sharing initiatives that provide value to key government and military organizations
  • Identify major user groups or key users and maintain the system to manage interactions with these groups
  • Seek opportunities to connect users, ideally through our platform, to support each other on research opportunities or initiatives
  • Promote our communication tools for quick collaboration
  • Include other team leads when appropriate to ensure users are supported
  • Proactively help users manage their information, organizing it in an intuitive manner
  • Seek new ways to better relay information, leveraging visualizations and platform tools to help users accomplish their missions

Requirements

  • Previous military experience with honorable discharge or prior experience working with military personnel
  • Demonstrated experience with public speaking and/or leading trainings
  • Comfortable learning new technology
  • Proficient with ClaraKM software suite
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • US citizen eligible for a security clearance

Nice to have

  • Any extra technical capabilities, like proficiency in GIS or coding, especially Python
  • Undergraduate degree or higher
  • Work or internship experience with the military or federal government
  • Foreign language skills a plus
  • Easily able to communicate with high-level official
