Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Pool Supervisor who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees to ensure established cultural and core standards are met
  • Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, residents, and group contacts
  • Ensure quality of all food & beverage items, amenities, ingredients, and preparation methods
  • Restock and organize all products and equipment to an attentive and distinctive experience in Recreation
  • Conduct quality checks on all guests to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to ensure effective communication and cooperation with staff
  • Support in all areas such as food running, replenishing towels, attending, or serving when necessary
  • Test and coach all team members daily on Forbes and all standard training manuals to guarantee the finest service potential
  • Handle all guest and resident complaints, concerns, and special requests while ensuring that the flow of service is efficient
  • Implement and follow up on development programs related to service standards, products, and hotel policies
  • Assist with the service and preparation of beverage and food to guests and Amenities

Requirements:

  • Legal work authorization in United States
  • Required to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card from Hawaii State Department of Health
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required
  • Familiarity with luxury service standards and guest engagement techniques
