We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Pool Service & Guest Experience Manager who brings energy, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence in delivering outstanding guest experiences. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pool and beach restaurant, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest satisfaction. You will plan, organize, lead, and control all operational aspects while coaching and motivating your team to consistently deliver high standards.
Job Responsibility
Train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees and supervisors to ensure established cultural and core standards are met
Maintain a working knowledge of food, wines, spirits, cocktails
Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
Work closely with Assistant Director of Food & Beverage, Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to design an effective menu and beverage list
Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control
Drive departmental goals
Take an active role to meet the financial goals of the restaurant
Maintain knowledge of competition and industry trends
Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment and make recommendations for corrections and improvements
Oversee the schedule to ensure proper coverage for operations
Control and manage of OE inventories, breakages, requisitions
Operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
Requirements
A firm knowledge of the local market
Effective communication skills in both speaking and writing English and Thai
Must hold the legal right to work in Thailand
Diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage (ideally)
Minimum of one or two years’ experience working in a managerial capacity
Experience in restaurant hotel operations or other luxury environment
