Pool Servers are responsible for arranging seating areas, taking/serving food and beverage orders, and being knowledgeable about all current menu options and beverage lists, and efficiently clearing and restocking items to ensure a seamless and memorable experience for our owners and guests.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct all opening and closing procedures
Wipe down, set up and move all pool deck equipment
Pick up, stock/restock, and drop off towels, juices, fruits, and other items or amenities
Assist owners and guests with seating, towels, amenities and food and beverage service
Describe the selection of menu items to guests
Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen
Coordinate food timings
Check completed kitchen orders with the guest’s original order
Transport items to the guest in a timely manner
Respond properly in any Residence Club emergency or safety situation
Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Residence Club management and staff
Requirements:
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Previous food and beverage experience, preferred
Must be at least 21 years of age
San Diego County Food Handlers card (not required upon hire) and Responsible Beverage Service certification
