Job Description:

Pool Guest Service Agent position at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, responsible for minor maintenance repairs, guest service, and ensuring property upkeep while following company standards and safety procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Fix minor plumbing problems
  • Perform miscellaneous minor repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
  • Follow company safety and security policies
  • Report maintenance problems and safety hazards
  • Complete safety training
  • Maintain professional appearance
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and assist guests
  • Address guests' service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Maintain positive working relationships
  • Ensure quality standards
  • Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving objects

Requirements:

  • Fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets
  • Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls
  • Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
  • Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Complete safety training and certifications
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
  • Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Assist individuals with disabilities
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds
  • Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder
  • Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
  • Eligible for individuals with working rights in Fiji

  • Maintain and repair all equipment in laundry, kitchen, guestrooms, events areas, restaurants, offices, and public spaces
  • Contacts Chief Engineer and coordinates with vendors for repairs needing professional expertise
  • Repair air conditioning, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical fixtures to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Maintain work areas clean and organized
  • Maintain and repair carpets, wall coverings, furniture, painted surfaces and appliances
  • Change burned out light bulbs and make other cosmetic repairs as assigned
  • Complete interior and exterior detailed cleaning assignments as needed
