Job Description:

Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time, Summer Seasonal Pool Food Runner. Our work environment pairs a strong commitment to excellent service and authentic experiences with an emphasis on creativity and innovation. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication in serving our guests. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Facilitate guest satisfaction by supporting the Food Server in delivering food promptly and accurately from the kitchen
  • Ensure timely and precise delivery of food from the kitchen to guests
  • Assist in the discreet clearing, cleaning, and setup of tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silver to uphold Four Seasons Standards and provide superior service by greeting guests warmly
  • Proactively anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction levels, and promptly address any concerns or requests
  • Contribute to the stocking of linens, china, glass, silver, and food items for service
  • participate in preparing smaller items like toast, soup, or beverages
  • Foster a harmonious and professional working relationship with colleagues and supervisors

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum one year of food service or related work
  • Ability to carry and balance a tray
  • Ability to accurately read food tickets and communicate orders with the kitchen and servers
  • Fluent English (written, spoken and reading)
  • ‘Serving It Right’ certificate
  • Strong commitment to service, and a great attitude
  • Must have valid work authorization for Canada
