Byron Bay Ranga, a leading landscape construction company in Byron Bay, is seeking an experienced and passionate Pool Construction Manager to join our team. Job Responsibility

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates
  • Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in pool construction. Including all hiring, performance management and team meetings
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets high-quality standards and adheres to safety regulations
  • Ensure that all necessary permits and licences are obtained, and that construction activities comply with local building codes and regulations
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Monitor project expenses, including labour, materials, and equipment costs, to ensure they align with the allocated budget
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or requests
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • In-depth knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and equipment
  • Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to identify and address challenges or issues that may arise during construction projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations related to construction
  • Several years of experience in pool construction or related construction management roles, with a track record of successful project completions
