Job Description:

Byron Bay Ranga, a leading landscape construction company in Byron Bay, is seeking an experienced and passionate Pool Construction Manager to join our team. We are committed to sustainable practices and creating breathtaking outdoor spaces, and we are looking for an individual who shares our values.

Job Responsibility:

Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates
Supervise and lead a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and other personnel involved in pool construction. Including all hiring, performance management and team meetings
Conduct regular inspections to ensure that construction work meets high-quality standards and adheres to safety regulations
Ensure that all necessary permits and licences are obtained, and that construction activities comply with local building codes and regulations
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
Monitor project expenses, including labour, materials, and equipment costs, to ensure they align with the allocated budget
Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or requests
Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
In-depth knowledge of pool construction techniques, materials, and equipment
Proficiency in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to identify and address challenges or issues that may arise during construction projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Familiarity with local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations related to construction
Several years of experience in pool construction or related construction management roles, with a track record of successful project completions
