The Pool/Beach Attendant is an integral part of the Operations team, dedicated to delivering an exceptional experience for Ocean Club guests. This role focuses on creating positive interactions, anticipating guest needs, and ensuring the highest level of service. Responsibilities include welcoming guests using outdoor amenities, guiding them to available pool or beach seating, and providing assistance as requested. The position also requires performing daily opening, operating, and closing tasks for the designated area. Please note: this role involves continuous work in an outdoor environment.
Job Responsibility:
Perform daily opening, operating, and closing duties according to department guidelines
Cleaning of the entire pool deck or beach area, and surrounding areas and landscaping, of all trash and debris
Setup and breakdown of pool and beach lounge chairs
Clean all chairs and tables prior to guest arrival and throughout the day as needed
Meet and greet all guests as they arrive and escort them to vacant lounge chairs
Setup towels, Bimini tops, ashtrays, tables, or other service items the guest may request
Interact with and assist guests throughout the shift to ensure guest satisfaction
Coordinate with all necessary departments to provide superior guest service and to fulfill guest requests
Ensure all guests utilizing outdoor amenities are wearing the appropriate daily wristband
Maintain required cleanliness standards for the pool deck or beach areas and the all surrounding areas
Place towel bins in designated areas
Collect used towels from the pool deck or beach area and other outdoor areas, and place in bins
Collect all towel bins from the outdoor areas and return them to the Laundry holding area(s) as required
Turn all items left by guests into Lost & Found immediately
Perform periodic detailed cleaning of beach furniture, tables, and Bimini tops
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times
Assist other department team members as needed
Perform other related duties as required by the management team, including preparation for special events and severe inclement weather
Attend meetings and/or training sessions as requested by the management team
Create a working environment free of discord and ensure open communication with all internal and external customers
Perform all reasonable duties requested by management
