Job Description:

Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills is looking for a Pool Bartender who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world-renowned hotels. The Pool Bartender reports to the F&B Outlet Manager. Work authorization for the location is required.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of wine spirits and mixed drinks as well as information regarding preparation methods
  • Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
  • stock the bar areas with liquor, wine, beer, juices, soft drinks, glassware and condiments
  • ensure that all details of service are performed properly and that every guest receives the highest quality of service
  • utilize the hotel’s computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings
  • ensure proper pouring, mixing, blending, etc. of drinks
  • service all drinks for service bar area, guests and the bar area
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of 1 year required
  • high analytical and organizational skills
  • Speaking, writing and reading English is required
  • flexible schedule and the ability to work different shifts and some weekends
  • knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting
  • ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems
