Job Description:

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional Pool & Bar experience while ensuring attentive, personalized, and efficient service to our Guests. Your role will include welcoming Guests at the pool area, describing food and beverage offerings with engaging and vivid details, taking and processing orders, coordinating service timing, and anticipating Guest needs. You will ensure that poolside areas are impeccably maintained, Guest checks are accurately closed, and every interaction reflects a refined, relaxed, and distinctive luxury experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering an exceptional Pool & Bar experience while ensuring attentive, personalized, and efficient service to our Guests
  • Welcoming Guests at the pool area, describing food and beverage offerings with engaging and vivid details, taking and processing orders, coordinating service timing, and anticipating Guest needs
  • Ensuring that poolside areas are impeccably maintained, Guest checks are accurately closed, and every interaction reflects a refined, relaxed, and distinctive luxury experience
  • Describe the Pool & Bar food and beverage menu items to Guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste, and preparation methods
  • take and communicate Guest orders, including special requests or dietary needs, to the bar and kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
  • coordinate service timings to ensure prompt and seamless delivery while maintaining food and beverage quality
  • Provide attentive poolside service, including delivering food and drinks to sun loungers and tables, checking orders for accuracy, and ensuring Guests’ comfort throughout their stay at the pool area
  • Anticipate Guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions, and respond promptly and professionally to Guest concerns or requests, maintaining a visible presence in the pool and bar operation
  • Properly and accurately close Guest checks
  • process cash and credit card payments
  • manage voided checks or complimentary items in accordance with hotel procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of poolside areas, bar counters, tables, loungers, and service stations
  • assist with set-up and breakdown of pool and bar areas in line with operational standards

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • At least three years of experience in luxury hotels, beach clubs, resorts, or stand-alone high-end bars or pool operations, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced outdoor environment, and a natural flair for creating relaxed yet refined Guest experiences
  • Ability to accurately process cash and credit card transactions
  • Ability to carry trays and work comfortably in an outdoor poolside environment
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English and Italian
