Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Pool and Beach Server who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Pool and Beach Servers have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction.

Job Responsibility:

  • Proactively greet guests, drop off a QR code/menu, introduce yourself and inform them that you will be taking care of them for the day
  • Accurately describe your pool’s hours of service, offerings, and specials of the day
  • Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste and preparation methods
  • Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen/ bar using the resorts Micros
  • Coordinate food & beverage timings and deliver items within the proper timing standards
  • Ensure proper quality of orders by checking on previously delivered items
  • Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions that will enhance their experience
  • Respond to guest requests and concerns urgently and appropriately
  • Manage designated section and continuously checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Detail your area daily to ensure your space is clean and organized as well as ensuring the area is fully stocked with necessary inventory
  • Properly and accurately close guest checks
  • process cash and credit card payments
  • properly settle voided checks and complimentary meals
  • Complete closing paperwork and accurately tip out the appropriate food runner and bar staff
  • Ensure every interaction is a Forbes 5 Star experience
  • Learn and maintain our Pool and Beach 38 Forbes standards
  • Successfully working as a team to ensure guest experience is a priority
  • You will be working in an active outdoor environment, so you must be able to stand for long periods of time

Requirements:

  • Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required
  • Must possess legal work authorization in United States
  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
  • Weekend & Holiday availability required
