The person in this role provides comprehensive diagnostic and treatment procedures within the realm of the Sleep Lab. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services, patient care and education. It may also include caring for patients requiring respiratory therapy not limited to medication administration and care of Trach/Vent patients.

Requirements:
High school education or equivalent
Current licensure by the State of Wisconsin as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required
Current CPR certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required
Analytical skills necessary to resolve complex clinical problems relating to the integration of anatomy and physiology to sleep/wake pathology and patient safety and welfare
Nice to have:
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist and BRPT (Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists) preferred
