Policy, Strategy and Partnerships Officer - A local authority is looking for a Policy, Strategy and Partnerships Officer to support delivery of corporate policy, strategic partnerships and improvement activity.
Job Responsibility:
Support development of corporate policies, strategies and plans
Provide policy and project support to senior leadership and Cabinet
Draft high quality briefing papers, reports and presentations
Support and coordinate strategic partnerships linked to community priorities
Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external partners
Identify improvements and support organisational and cultural change
Requirements:
Experience in policy, strategy or partnerships within local government or public sector
Experience working with senior stakeholders and elected members
Strong report writing and briefing experience
Experience supporting or delivering projects or programmes
Good understanding of local government priorities and partnership working
