Job Description:

We're partnering with a reputable and well-known NGO organization in finding (Senior) Research Managers for their growing team focusing on public healthcare policies locally and overseas, ranging on a number healthcare topics.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead research projects related to public healthcare systems in Hong Kong and overseas
  • Conduct comprehensive literature and policy reviews and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to drive policy development and decision-making
  • Analyze healthcare policies and to assess their impact onto the general public health and healthcare systems
  • Provide evidence-based policy on recommendations and strategies to address key healthcare challenges for positive impact to the public's health
  • Collaboration with internal teams to drive effective and positive social impact programs in hong kong and overseas
  • Communicate complex research findings and policy recommendations clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials, healthcare providers, community organizations, and academic researchers, to advocate and promote policy implementation
  • Monitor and analyze upcoming trends within the healthcare policy, identifying new research areas and policy opportunities

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Public Health or a related field
  • Masters degree is an advantage
  • PhD is a bonus
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in policy research, preferably within the healthcare sector
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, including public programs like Medicare and Medicaid, healthcare financing, and healthcare delivery models
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative and qualitative research
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and communication skills, with the ability to simplify and convey complex policies
  • Strong team player, strong project management with strong timely deliverables
  • Experience working with policymakers, government agencies, and other stakeholders in the healthcare sector
  • Strong interest in healthcare or public health
  • Strong verbally and written communication in english and chinese

Nice to have:

Candidates with more experience will be considered as senior manager and above
