The Risk Framework and Policy role is crucial for managing risks in the company through the development, interpretation, and implementation of risk-specific policies and frameworks, such as credit risk. This role involves a broad spectrum of tasks such as designing processes, implementing policies, and managing risk framework governance. This role contributes significantly to the company's broader objectives by ensuring all business operations follow well-defined, robust risk management policies and frameworks. The role exists to ensure the company operates within defined risk parameters, thereby safeguarding its financial stability, reputation, and promoting sustainable business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Manage collection strategies for pre-write off accounts
Regularly review and implement policy and performance measures
Implement and monitor champion/challenger strategies
Ensure compliance with local and global regulations
Monitor performance metrics and address risks
Analyze performance reports and recommend policy improvements
Assist in implementing growth initiatives and process streamlining
Assess business risks and potential impacts
Develop coordinated and actionable plans and procedures
Track policy implementation progress and resolve any issues
Prepare reports on policy performance and develop risk mitigation strategies
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience
Proficient analytical and quantitative skills
Excellent computer skills and programming ability
Good command in both written and spoken communications
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and follow through to achieve project goals
Strong background in risk management and policy analysis
Experience in a financial institution, particularly in credit risk or collections
Understanding of industry standards and practices
Experience in data analysis and using statistical tools
Familiarity with relevant local and global regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies
Good communication skills and ability to exchange complex and sensitive information
Attention to detail and ability to deliver quality work within tight deadlines
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
Ethical judgment in decision-making and personal conduct
Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
Nice to have:
Knowledge of new & existing Market Risk regulation (e.g. FRTB, B3EG etc)
Hands on experience with big data tooling (e.g. Python, SQL, AI prompting etc)
