Job Description:

Realize your potential by joining the leading performance-driven advertising company! As our Policy Director, you will be the chief architect of the global rules governing our ecosystem. Your mission is to pivot the policy function from a reactive unit into a proactive Research & Development domain. Reporting to the Head of Integrity & News Ops, you will define the standards that ensure marketplace health, balancing network integrity with aggressive commercial growth. You will thrive in this role if you are a strategic visionary who can turn complex regulatory landscapes into sustainable competitive advantages.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop dual-sided standards for Supply (Publishers) and Demand (Advertisers) to maximize liquidity and safety
  • Drive Policy Innovation: Partner with Product and R&D to embed policy requirements directly into the product lifecycle for automated scalability
  • Lead Horizon Scanning: Research emerging risks and opportunities, specifically regarding the EU AI Act, AI-generated content, and deepfake technology
  • Enable Business Growth: Serve as the primary consultant for Sales and Business Development, navigating “gray area” opportunities with a creative, business-first mindset
  • Industry Advocacy: Represent the company in high-stakes discussions with Tier-1 partners (Apple, Microsoft, Yahoo) and industry bodies like the IAB and TAG
  • Executive Advisory: Translate complex policy landscapes into clear business trade-offs for senior leadership

Requirements:

  • 10+ years in the advertising technology ecosystem, with deep fluency in technical infrastructure (OpenRTB, SSP/DSP dynamics) and marketplace economics
  • Executive Presence: Proven ability to influence C-suite and VP-level stakeholders, defending policy decisions through the lens of long-term business value
  • Commercial Acumen: You view policy as a business lever and can balance advertiser success with the overall health and reputation of the network
  • Analytical Leadership: A track record of moving teams from “clearing queues” to “generating insights” with a strong bias toward automation
  • Strategic Foresight: Ability to anticipate regulatory shifts and translate them into commercial opportunities

Nice to have:

  • An MBA, JD, or Master’s in Economics or Public Policy
  • Experience in high-growth tech environments or “Policy-as-Code” implementation
What we offer:
  • 25 days holiday
  • excellent health insurance
  • free breakfast and lunch every day
  • stock options
  • Perkbox
