Job Description

We are currently recruiting for one of our top clients in the insurance field as they are scaling their Policy Conversion team to support a critical migration initiative. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the modernization of our client's insurance platforms. You will be responsible for the accurate migration of policies from legacy systems into the new environment, ensuring compliance with Canadian regulations and maintaining high standards of underwriting integrity. Does this sound like an exciting role to you? This is a full time, contract opportunity. Contract duration - Up to end of year. Hybrid - up to 3 days in office. Office location - Oakville. Hours of operation - Mon to Fri, Rotational shifts between 7:30 am and 6:30 pm (up to 7.25 hours per day i.e. up to 36.25 hours per week). Must be open and flexible to work within the hours of operation. Salary - $25.64/hr. Start Date - ASAP.

Job Responsibility

  • Execute Policy Migration: Manage the end-to-end conversion of insurance policies from legacy systems to the Guidewire Policy Center, ensuring data integrity and accuracy
  • Apply Underwriting Standards: Utilize your P&C insurance knowledge to review risks and apply appropriate underwriting rules during the transition process
  • System Navigation: Leverage Salesforce and GWPC to track cases, document interactions, and manage policy lifecycles efficiently
  • Ensure Compliance: strictly adhere to Canadian personal insurance regulations and internal market practices throughout the conversion process
  • Deliver Service Excellence: Provide exceptional support and service in all interactions, troubleshooting issues that arise during migration and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience with policy conversion/ migration, guidewire Policy Center, P&C insurance/ underwriting experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of Canadian personal insurance regulations and market practices
  • Insurance/ underwriting knowledge
  • Working knowledge of GWPC and Salesforce
